Welcome to Foot2Afrika
Jambo and welcome to Foot2Afrika volunteering and adventure organization. Here you will find meaningful, valuable and affordable involvement with the local community in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania.

 

  • Foot2Afrika was formed in 2006 by two local Tanzanian men; Emmason and Johnson. They understand where your volunteering efforts will make an effective impact on the lives of the local community. They live here, have grown up here and have seen first hand the struggles that have been faced in the community. Fuad Haji Abdallah Behani joined the two in 2007 and he has served as assistant project coordinator at his great support within the community.
  • Volunteers are not charged for their project placement, they are only charged for accommodation and food. This is due to the companies understanding that volunteers want to make a real difference without being charged high rates.




What to expect with Foot2Afrika:
• Personalized and quality service - A more personalized and ultimately worthwhile experience is given to both volunteers and adventurers. Programs are individualized to fit the needs of everyone.

• Project Support - Foot2Afrika offers support and advice to volunteers during the entire process of planning to volunteer in Tanzania as well as in-country support.

• Flexibility Programs - You choose the timeframe, from 2 weeks to 3 months and longer. We are also flexible about individual programs, so remember to tell us about your particular interests and objectives for your trip when you apply.

• Adventure - If you want to help but do not have the time to volunteer you can do one of the adventure programs and from the costs of these programs 10% goes to local community projects. You will experience Tanzania’s beautiful nature and wildlife we offer a varied selection of adventures customized to fit your interests.
