Project Location:
Moshi Urban.

Number of Volunteer at a time: from 2 to 3.

Project Activities:
Volunteers are expected to offer the project with a new and different ideas on arts and Music, creative workshops,art performances,recording in our local studio, witting songs,play instruments and English language teaching to local participants.

Volunteer schedule:
Arrival and be met-Next day orientation including Moshi town excursion, Project visit and learn what you will be doing-Start the project. Project normally starts on Monday to Friday. During the weekend there is many program including day trips and community task works.

Accommodation: Volunteer can decide to stay at the hostel hostel Foot Prince or at any accommodation in Moshi town.

Resources available for Volunteer:
There is reference from previous volunteers on same projects, transport when you are going outside Moshi town for recording, recording studio, guitar, djembe, and keyboard.

Recommended thing to bring:
There is a need to have your extra music instruments that you feel will be useful. We use to hire the full system when we arrange the show for rising money for the group.

Project summary:
As culture reflects a real image. Tanzania has unique culture which is still explored today. The various arts include paintings, carvings, music and dancing. Here we introduce you to music of “Bongo Land” Bongo Flavor famous here for its Swahili songs and variety of sound.

Foot 2 Afrika manages a small group of 8 artists in Moshi known as ”Majamaa International” who perform music in various entertainment halls in week days for their living.The group is combination of kids from streets hardships and poor family. You can introduce your music talents and share your ideas with the group as well as supporting them at their performances. Some real African music you won't want to miss. If you have any interest with music or you would like to performe with Majamaa, here is your opportunity. You can add a touch of yourself in the process and share the beauty of music.
